Give Him a full embrace.
He chases shadows of Jesus.
In circles he goes.
He feels the love and
Yes he knows
Who Jesus is,
since he was a kid.
Be kind to all should be the rule.
Yet for some reason,
he treats me cruel.
Holy Spirit please guide him.
Please give him asylum.
Protect his heart.
I know he’s smart.
I know he had
A rocky start.
Let the past be the past.
No more shadows to chase.
Grab hold of the Lord.
Give Him a full embrace.
Surrender it all
No time to stall.
Come on now
Get on the ball.
No chains to date.
So celebrate.
It’s not too late.
